The Berean Expositor is the name of the church funded by the Berean Publishing Trust, based in central London.
The problem: They had a basic website with poor functionality, and the design lacked visual appeal and logical navigation. They wanted a website for Christians to access audio, visual and PDF files of the teaching from their Chapel. They wanted better organisation, clear messaging that stuck to the voice from the previous website and a more attractive design.
The chosen service: Webpages. They wanted a complete refurbishment of the website, which I carried out on WordPress by creating a site that suited their ministry. I made the website’s resources accessible by organising the MP3s and PDFs into topics and giving each resource the option to download (this work is still in progress). I stayed true to the voice of BPT’s works, and refining it for an audience of young Christians.
The result: The website’s design is much clearer, easier on the eye, simple to navigate and true to the voice of BPT’s works.
Reviews and comments: The trustees of the church are very happy with the improvement of the site and feel it met the brief’s terms well.
