The hook for an interested prospect
Sales presentations are usually given to interested prospects who are willing to give you time to explain yourself.
Most business owners or executives are extremely busy and struggle to give up their time for a presentation like this, so this is a golden opportunity to present your business and yourself with gusto.
It will be informative, succinct, easy on the eye, and persuasive.
It’s important to get this bit right, and that’s what I can do for you.
Here's what's included
A consultation meeting
We’ll sit down together for up to two hours to fill in a brief, sign the contract and set up any software that we may use together e.g. Zoho Workdrive.
This is my chance to learn as much as I can from you about your business, your previous successes with clients, details of the business you’re prospecting to, your USP and more.
Research
After our conversation, I’ll be doing my own desk research on your business and on the business you’re prospecting to. This may involve visiting their premises, calling relevant people, and interviewing your previous customers.
Creating the Presentation
I’ll craft a sales presentation that presents you with professionalism, transparency and a proper understanding of your prospect’s needs.
I’ll use my research to create a visually appealing presentation on PowerPoint and show how you stand out from the competition (which there likely will be).
If relevant, I may ask you for images if we are showing a product or service in action, but otherwise I will source images from a copyright-free website.
If you want, for a small extra fee I’ll make a script for you to use with the slides.
Finally, there will be a clear call to action so they know exactly what to do next.
Editing
At this stage, I send you a completed presentation — ready for using. However, you can send me as many edits as you need per round of revision.
You have two rounds of revisions to send me. We may need to meet again or have a video call to discuss the presentation live.
Complete!
You’ll use the presentation in front of your prospect, and I’ll check in with you to see how it went.
Estimated cost: £200
The exact cost will depend on the amount of research I will need to do for your business or your prospect. For example, if your business is fairly large with many employees, many branches and a long history then it will take more research than a small sole trader business will.
