- I send updates about the progress of the work to clients, payment reminders, offers I may be running, and marketing emails to sell my services. I need to do this to keep the client posted about how the work is going or to ask questions necessary for completing work. I need to send payment reminders to ensure the invoices are paid and don\’t incur a late payment fee. I send offers and marketing emails to people who I am already in contact with or have submitted their email address to me, and there is an option to unsubscribe.

All records are made and held in accordance with the principles of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Diamond Copy’s responsibility is to ensure that our activities, whether solely or as part of another organisation, are covered by our registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Performance data is kept for reports on how the copy is performing for the client. We ask for this data from the business’ contact directly.
Towards the end of each period of data retention, we will remind you of our data retention schedule to give you the opportunity to request for the data to be deleted or agree to its continued retention by Diamond Copy according to the below schedule.

This data processor does the following activities for us: It processes name, contact details, address, services the client is interested in or has already bought, call and email details, notifications about emails being opened and clicked on, and details of projects.
FreeAgent
This data processor does the following activities for us: It tracks my business\’ finances and manages income and expenditure. It creates and sends invoices, receipts and quotes to customers. It will shows which customers have paid and processes refunds.
Zoho Mail
It securely handles all the emails for the business, including attachments and calendar appointments.
