What if more than one generation buys my products/services?

I would say look for the common ground in all the generations that buy from you. It’s unlikely that your product is going to be bought by both Gen Z and Baby Boomers so look for the overlap in consecutive generations. Gen Z and Millennials both want authenticity in marketing, so you could get an interview with a previous customer for some positive user-generated content that proves your product really is amazing. You could film it on video and post it on Instagram or turn it into a reel. Adapting your idea with different platforms is a great strategy.

What is one essential tip for every generation?

Among many essentials, don’t forget this one. Always include a call-to-action in your marketing. If it’s a reel or story, tell them where to buy or give them a link. If it’s your website, link to your contact page or services page. If it’s a leaflet, make sure your contact details, website and clear next steps are on there. In anything you create for your marketing, always tell the audience what to do next. Just make sure to tailor the wording for each generation.
